Dr M Bandopadhya, IPGMER & SSKM Hospital said, “Initial examination suggests severe bony injuries in her left ankle, foot and bruises, injuries in right shoulder, forearm and neck. The chief minister complained of chest pain and breathlessness since the incident. She has been kept under close watch for 48 hours.”

Mamata Banerjee will undergo a CT Scan on Thursday morning. She has suffered fractures in her ankle and toe.
The Trinamool Congress chief has also developed a slight fever and has been shifted to a special ward at the hospital’s VVIP Woodburn Block soon after the MRI at the Bangur Institute of Neurosciences.
